The World Cup stirs up sales in Brazil

The retail footwear in Brazil is animated by the World Cup. The stores seem an extension of the stadiums where the Seleção Brasileira (Brazil National Football Team) will seek the sixth world title in South Africa.

The expectation of Brazilian retailers is big. According to them, the best selling products are balls, T- shirts and sneakers. To fill the shops, the industry of footwear, garment  and sporting goods prepared an array of novelties  for the  many exclusive lines and special launches for the World Cup.

The Brazilian e-commerce market is also booming. Sporting goods and electronics are among the most popular. The expectation is for a good increase in sales.
