The European divulging program is an innovation within Couromoda 2010 promotional actions. This program aims at attracting the attention of major footwear and fashion organizations, as well as the purchasing chains that work with higher added value fashion goods.

To carry out the job, Couromoda appointed a professional based in Milan, who will visit personally the 100 leading footwear and fashion goods purchasing organizations in several countries that represent 50% of the European market.

With these actions, Couromoda wants to show the new profile of footwear and fashion accessories that are being produced today in Brazil, with quality, higher added value, prime raw material, design, agility and competitive prices.

“The newly appointed business consultant Philippe Versluysen, a professional with a long experience in the footwear industry and with several works in Europe and in the United States will contact personally retail and distributor chains in the UK, Germany, Russia, France, Italy, Belgium Holland, Luxembourg, Scandinavia, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. These will be direct actions with the main buyers in those countries”, explains Katherine Shibata, Couromoda Foreign Trade Manager.

“I am convinced that with this work we shall take the image of the fair and of the Brazilian footwear all around the world, expanding its visibility and showing the enormous potential of Brazil as a footwear exporter”, says Philippe Versluysen.
