Arezzo to open 300 stores in China

Arezzo the footwear and women’s accessories brand wants to open 300 stores in China, in a joint venture with Chinese group Prime Success.
The aim of this partnership is to close 2007 with already five sales points – two would open in November and three in December, the rest by 2016.

Arezzo will start in China in style and with a private label. A pair of shoes will cost an average of US$ 160, an amount over the average price charged for the products in Brazil. The footwear will be top of the line within the portfolio of brands carried by Prime Success, one of the leading footwear companies in the country. “We are not going to sell shoes, but a brand, a design, a concept and service. Whilst the world buys in China, Arezzo wants to sell to the Asian countries”, says Anderson Birman, president of the company.
