Promotion on the foreign market

Leading footwear fair in Latin America, this year Couromoda expands its actions aiming at bringing buyers from all over the world to the 2008 edition that will be held in the city of São Paulo, from January 14th to 17th.

“During this second semester we are strengthening our strive in higher added value markets with actions in major fairs of the United States and Europe, as well as a strong work in Latin America”, says Jeferson Santos, director general of Couromoda.

One of these “fronts” are the participations in international trade fairs, where Couromoda participates in the major fairs being held in the United States (WSA), Germany (GDS), Italy (Micam), France (Midec) and Spain (Modacalzado), strengthening contacts and networking with international buyers and carrying out a Brazilian Footwear major international promotional campaign in the leading markets of the world.

In Latin America, a strong promotional campaign will also take place, where representatives of Couromoda will visit the capitals of the major Latin American countries, as well as launching campaigns for the 2008 fair in the special trade media.
