The 39th edition of COUROMODA - International Shoe, Sporting Goods
and Leather Goods Fair is the most important event held in Latin America, promoting
business and fostering networking in the footwear market. The fair brings together
1,100 shoe and leather goods exhibitors and receives qualified buyers from all
over Brazil and 60 other countries. The buyers find at COUROMODA collections for
all types of consumers and all climates: ranging from popular to ultra-sophisticated
fashion and from summer to winter.
Traditionally, it is with COUROMODA that begins the new working year for the
footwear industry. The business deals that are closed and/or started during the
event account for 30% of annual sales of the sector. The 39th edition hosted 85,000
professional visits in four days.

COUROMODA is the big meeting point of shoe manufacturers, retailers, international
buyers and professionals from the footwear chain.
The fair brings together 3,000 exhibiting brands of men’s, women’s
and children’s shoe, fashion accessories, sporting goods and luggage that
represent 90% of all Brazil’s production.
